Why Microsoft 365 Needs Its Own Resource Center

Microsoft 365 is no longer just email and Office applications. For many businesses it is the identity provider, email system, file platform, collaboration hub, security control point, and data repository. When Microsoft 365 is configured poorly, the risk is much larger than a single bad password.

This resource center is designed to help business owners understand the decisions behind a properly managed tenant: MFA, administrator roles, licensing, mailbox security, external sharing, backup, OneDrive structure, SharePoint permissions, employee offboarding, and recovery planning.

Where to Start

If the business has not fully deployed MFA, start there. If the business has had suspicious email activity, start with business email compromise. If files are disorganized, start with OneDrive vs SharePoint. If licensing is confusing or security tools are missing, start with Business Standard vs Premium.
